Reto Giger advises medium-sized and large compa­nies active in Switzerland and inter­nationally, as well as high net-worth indi­viduals with ties to Switzerland. He coordinates the full spectrum of relo­cation activities and takes a targeted approach to optimizing struc­tures and transactions. His clients include multinational trade and manufacturing compa­nies, real estate compa­nies, financial service providers and HNWIs. Thanks to his network, he is able to provide his clients with le­gal and tax-related optimization services and well as help them grow their business.

In 2011, Reto Giger founded GIGER Tax AG, which was renamed GHM Partners AG in November 2013.

From 2006 through 2011, he worked in the tax and le­gal department at Balmer-Etienne AG. His last position there was deputy director responsible for com­plex domestic and, in particular, inter­national matters.

Reto Giger worked at Froriep Renggli Attorneys at Law in Zug, Switzerland, from 2004 through 2005, as a Tax Expert responsible for social security and tax-related issues involved in transactions, project coordination and contractual matters.

From 1998 through 2004, he worked in the le­gal and tax department at PricewaterhouseCoopers AG, where he particularly focused on optimizing the tax relationship between public limited compa­nies and shareholders, handling succession issues and as­sisting clients in corporate tax law matters.

The Certified Swiss Tax Expert earned his graduate degree (Diploma) in 2002.

He studied law and received his license at the Universities of Lausanne and Berne in 1998.

Reto Giger is a German native speaker and is fluent in English and French (capable of conducting business transactions in all languages).
